STRAW QUALITY
These are actual sorted straws of the highest concentration offered by ST Genetics. They are the "4M” high concentration for ST Straws and refers to an approximate concentration of four million one hundred thousand (4,100,000) total inseminates per straw, in a range of three million nine hundred thousand (3,900,000) to four million two hundred thousand (4,200,000) inseminates per ST Straw. These are not the "heifer-select" type that are treated with a chemical to kill male sperm and have lower gender selection success. These are HEIFER-SORTED, with the male sperm removed by a world-class facility. We're so convinced of the quality that we offer a *GUARANTEED HEIFER* If a heifer-sorted straw results in a bull calf we will give you a FREE heifer-sorted straw (with proof of original breeding.) Shipping, storage, and AI service are not included.

Vanguard was born into a 5-year Closed Herd that tests annually. He has tested negative for ANAPLASMOSIS, BRUCELLOSIS, BLUE TONGUE, EPIZOOTIC HEMORRHAGIC DISEASE VIRUS, LEPTOSPIROSIS CANICOLA, LEPTOSPIROSIS GRIPPOTYPHOSA, LEPTOSPIROSIS HARDJBOVIS, LEPTOSPIROSIS ICTEROHAEMORRHAGICA, LEPTOSPIROSIS POMONA, PARA TB, BLV, BVD, VIBRIO BACTERIA, TRICHOMONIASIS.
Tests conducted annually on the herd include BLV, BVD, JOHNE'S, Q-FEVER, NEOSPORA, TB, BRUCELLOSIS, MYCOPLASMA, STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS, and STREPTOCOCCUS AGALACTIAE. His dam, NW Willow, tested negative for Johne's after his birth on 6/20/2020, and again after her second calf's arrival, on 6/21/2021.
