Aspen, a Purebred Midsize Jersey, was bred 5/5/2026 to heifer-sexed SS Pendleton-PP. The heifer (90%+) calf will be A2/A2, homozygous Polled, non-chondro/negative BD1, and likely carry white. Aspen is trained to machine milk, lead, and stand tied. She does not like to handmilked or nursed. She will not take graft calves. She's NOT vaccinated and does not have a Bangs tag so she cannot ship to CA. She's a sweet gentle soul that was mauled by a dog at birth. Her ears show some damage, and she has scars visible in her summer coat. She loves our LGDs despite it. She's a great producer and would do well in a grain program. Aspen is currently giving 2 gallons OAD. We've retained both her heifer calves, Snow Angel and Pumpkin Spice. She's not yet confirmed bred but will be. Additional heifer-sexed Pendleton-PP straws are available for $350 each.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU GET HEALTH SCREENING TESTS DONE BY A VETERINARIAN ON ANY COWS YOU BUY. Our Mini cows tested negative for Chondrodysplasia, the genetic defect "Bulldog Gene" that causes dwarfism in cattle. We have an extensive testing and bio-security protocol to protect our herd. We don't offer stud services for this reason. |
