  • ​Great chance for Homozygous Polled.
  • Calves are expected to be Mini but it's possible to get Midsize.
  • Heifer-sexed Rio is used first for a higher chance of heifers.
  • Conventional Loyal is used second to improve fertilization for more embryos.
  • BBR purity is expected to be very high but there's no guarantee.
  • Bulls from Flora/Loyal are guaranteed to be homozygous Polled.
  • Kappa Casein A/A, A/B, or B/B and Beta Lactoglobulin A/B or B/B possible.
  • Herd is strictly Closed and extensively tested for 20+ diseases.
  • Annually tests include; Bovine Viral Diarrhea (BVD), Bovine Leukemia Virus (BLV), Johne's Disease, Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Streptococcus agalactiae, Mycoplasma bovis, Brucellosis (Bangs), and Tuberculosis (TB).
  • These embryos are not cleared for export outside the USA.
  • Embryos were professionally collected on-farm at North Woods Homestead by DNA Embryo Transfers, INC., Deer Park, WA.

> All calves produced will carry the North Woods name for registration regardless of where you choose to register.  We will record the embryos in AJCA for you at the conclusion of the transaction.

> No refunds will be given for embryos resulting in a bull, calves over 24" or for an unexpected BBR, etc.  Every effort has been made to stack the genetic odds to result in a "unicorn" Purebred Mini Jersey heifer.  There's no guarantee promised or implied beyond A2/A2 and Polled.  Hopefully, our efforts result in your dream heifer!

​> Embryos are $1,000 each.  A deposit of $100 per set of two is refundable only if the flush is unsuccessful.  Implantation of frozen embryos results in an average of about 50% success in pregnancy.  We have a two-embryo minimum to improve your chances of success.  Implantation is NOT included and an Embryologist is required to perform the medical procedure.  Most A.I. Techs are not Embryologists.  Balance due prior to transferring ownership.​

> Storage of the embryos after the final payment is NOT included.  Shipping is NOT included and depends on distance, averaging $150-$300.  Embryos are stored with the embryologist in WA temporarily then moved to Hoffman AI in UT (at our expense).
